How to Play

Shift your pieces according to their unique movement rules. The Commander can only step one square at a time within the fortress. Guards are limited to diagonal moves within the palace. Bishops move exactly two squares diagonally and cannot cross the river. Horses move one square straight and then one square diagonally, unless obstructed by adjacent pieces. Chariots move any number of squares straight, making them powerful attackers. Catapults move like chariots but must capture by hopping over exactly one piece. Soldiers move forward one square and gain new movement after crossing the river. Take the opponent's general to win the game. Strategize your moves carefully to checkmate the computer opponent.
